Have you ever had a dream come true?

Have you ever waited by the phone, wishing that special one, would call?

Have you ever just wanted to ignore the rules of dating, and just be free?

Have you ever been made to feel so special, that if you died that day, you’d have no regrets?

Have you ever you ever had it all, and just watched it slip away? There was nothing you could do to stop it.

Have you ever got on your knees to pray, and told God exactly what you wanted, but got to the end, and finished it… let your will be done.

Have you ever been so lonely, you swore people could see it on your face?©

Can I?

Can I, lay you down and marvel at the beauty that is your being?

Can I, rub your shoulders with warm oil to ease all of your tension away?

Can I, hold you till two become one?

Can I, go for a walk on a beach under a star filled sky?

Can I, take you along for company?

Can I, cook you dinner, with all your favorite foods, then after you know what I want to do?

Can I, tell you?

Can I, shout at the top of Mt. Olympus that you’re the one, till Jesus comes?

Can I, get down on bended knee and utter the words Will you…©

Eternal Romantic

What has happened to our world, it’s gone astray?

I can remember a time when my biggest problem was finding someone to come outside and play.

Now life has become a series of complications and very little fun.

I wish I could go back to the days when I was still young.

Why can’t Good men seem to hook up with good women?

I guess if you look deep enough it goes back to Adam, Eve and the time of the beginning.

Female friends tell me they want to be wined, dined and generally romanced.

Now I’m willing; but how can I if you won’t give me the chance?

Passion

I knew from the moment our eyes first met.

That there was more going inside us both, on this I bet.

You entered the room and into my world. Oh my, Lord my heart jumped a beat.

You are beautiful and someone I just had to meet.

How to approach you, straightforward with no games.

But I got choked up just asking for your name.

Give me exactly 7 minutes for words to start to flow.

By the time I’m done, we will be on the dance floor close and slow.

Revelation

Revelation for today: Warning it’s a bit sobering

Why do humans being need to be touched?

Did you know that you can give a baby food, water, clothing, keep it warm. Everything it needs to live, BUT if you don’t touch that baby it will die in less than a month? I read this factoid decades ago. The thought that crossed my mind at the time was what sick person did this atrocity to an infant?

But i digress since human touch is SO important to us! Why are some people are force to go thru life without touch or very limited touch. Yes, everyone is busy. But when was the last time someone touch you or better yet when was the last time someone touched you. It could be as simple as holding your hand or a hug. We touch to let others know they aren’t alone.

I wonder what you would do if I laid you down and brushed your hair. Would you fall asleep?

I wonder if I kissed your sweet lips, would you mind? Would you think I was too forward? Hmmm, I wonder?

I wonder what you’re doing at this moment that I am writing this?

I wonder; are you thinking of me as much as I do you?

I wonder, could you be the one?

I wonder, has anyone ever told you, you are the most beautiful person that I know?

I wonder, has anyone loved you unconditionally?

I wonder, has anyone written actual words to describe how you make them feel.

I ask thee I wonder, are you tired of reading these?
